TS 102mm f/10 achromatic refractor complete with Astro-5 (EQ5) German equatorial mount, (can be ordered with Astro-3 (EQ3) or HEQ5 mounts). Superior colour correction to other available 4" achromatic refractors. 2" and 1-1/4" eyepieces and accessories can be used with the 2" Rack and pinion focusser, and this instrument is great for astrophotography. The ideal first serious telescope or a luxury second telescope.


TS Refractor 102/1000mm

TS Refractor 102/660

Shorter focal length version of the TS 102mm refractors. This is an excellent widefield refractor for lower power widefield views, but also excellent at higher powers for lunar/planetary observing. An excellent widefield astrophotographic instrument.

Colour correction is excellent for an f/6.5 achromatic refractor. 2" Rack and Pinion focusser allows 2" and 1-1/ 4" eyepieces and accessories to be used.

Available on Astro-3 (EQ3), Astro-5 (EQ5), and HEQ5 German equatorial mounts.

The TS 127 refractors are the finest medium aperture achromatic refractors available in the UK. Excellent colour correction for an f/6.45 achromat means that for both photographic and visual purposes, the TS 127/820 refractor stands out as the ideal choice for a portable photo-visual refractor on a choice of German equatorial!mounts or as an OTA. The 127/820 model is particularly suited for widefield work.

Longer focal length version of the TS 127 refractors makes this model the ideal choice for lunar/planetary astrophotographic and visual use. Available on a choice of German equatorial mounts or as an OTA. Can take 2" eyepieces and accessories. Classic 6" f/8 refractor. Longer focal length version of the two TS 152 models. Colour correction is even better. The finest lunar/planetary achromatic refractor available in the UK. Accepts any 2" eyepiece or accessory. Works well on the moon and planets with well corrected eyepieces such as Televue Radians and TMB Monocentrics. Excellent astrophotographic instrument. Large enough aperture to take advantage of the ICS Narrowband and Line filters (UHC, OIII and HBeta). Available on the Astro-5 (EQ5), HEQ5 or EQ6 mounts. Also available as an OTA only.

The largest aperture widefield achromatic refractor in the TS range. Superb deep-sky and lunar/planetary performance both visually and photographically. Notable increase in visible light grasp, image brightness and resolution over the 127mm refractors. Particularly suited for widefield deep-sky work, it is also a great performer on the moon and planets. The best colour correction of any 6" short f/ achromatic refractor available in the UK.
